This site collects almost nothing in the background. The only personal data held is what you choose to send.
What this site collects
Nothing in the background, by design. No cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels. The site does not set or read anything in your browser, which is why there is no cookie banner.
The contact form
If you leave your details in the form, the submission is stored by the site’s hosting provider so I can read it, and I use it only to reply. You are not added to any list, your details are not shared, and you will not receive marketing.
The same goes for email. If you write to me, your address and your message are used only to reply.
Hosting logs
Like almost every website, the hosting provider keeps standard server logs. These can include your IP address, the pages requested and the time of the request. They are used to keep the site running and secure, not to identify visitors.
Advertising
If you ever arrive here from an online ad, any measurement of that click happens on the ad platform, before you arrive. Nothing on this site reports your visit back to the platform.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask what is held about you, ask for a copy of it, and ask for it to be deleted. Email hello@lorova.uk and I will sort it out. If you are unhappy with how your data is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
